Louisville (/ˈluːiːvɪl/, local /ˈluːəvəl/ or /ˈlʌvəl/) is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kentucky, and the county seat of Jefferson County. Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    My name is Alex. I consider myself a professional skateboarder I started skating at the age of 11. I’m now 29 years old I traveled across the country to be able to interact with other professionals skateboards and skateboarding companies I have met very legendary skateboards who skate for Nike Adidas toy machines, baker, enjoy skateboards, habitat skateboards, etc, I have currently 4 skateboards sponsors which are Woohskateboards, howmgrownskateboards, tg-11s bearing company, and also history in a bottle podcast for a Clothing brand, I’m pretty well known on social media for my skateboarding.

    I also run a skateboarding community page on Facebook well know around the world with an audience of 382.2k skateboarders. Skateboarding has always been my passion I have the biggest love for it and I’m thankful for skateboarding being in my life.

    Well, I simply love skateboarding. I’ve been doing it for almost half my life and I can’t find anything that I enjoy more than going out on a nice beautiful sunny day when the weather is just right to call up a few buddies and go out and learn new tricks. It’s always been a huge part of me since Tony Hawk, a pro skater, first came out I was addicted to the sport and always had a fascination with it but never really tripped off it until that game came out after that I literally fell in love with sk8ing. My mom bought me my first pair of Eric Koston e’s and an ATM blank in 1999/2000 and she got me the skate video destroying America. Pretty much after I saw that video I knew deep in my heart I wanted to do this skating thing so kept at it and got pretty good I’d say moved to California at the age of 15 years old and got tight with the skate mafia crew Keller James Lenny Rivas Peter Smolik and etc they put me on flo for a while then I moved to SF that’s when things really took off got introduced to PJ Ladd then hear I am today and I’ve been skating ever since.
