Long Neck is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. The population was 1,629 at the 2000 census. Long Neck is the only census-designated place in Sussex County. It is part of the Seaford, Delaware Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Long Neck is located at 38°37′08″N 75°09′00″W / 38.618874°N 75.149963°W / 38.618874; -75.149963 (38.618874, -75.149963).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.5 km), of which, 2.5 square miles (6.5 km) of it is land and 0.40% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,629 people, 817 households, and 545 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 655.0 people per square mile (252.6/km²). There were 1,807 housing units at an average density of 726.6 per square mile (280.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.28% White, 0.43% African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.06% Asian, 0.37% from other races, and 0.61% from two or more races. Hispanic…

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
