OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

Jacob B. from Seattle, Washington!

After skateboarding for more than two decades, Jacob understands the physics of skateboarding and all skateboarding maneuvers. He has a natural teaching ability and is very patient. He can work well with people of all ages races and genders.

Grayson P. from Fall City, Washington!

My name is Grayson and I would love to be an instructor for you guys! I have been skating since I was 12. It has been off and on over the recent years due to work and family. I am skilled enough to definitely help someone understand the technique and knowledge needed for skateboarding. I have skated lots of verts (bowls, half pipes, ramps) as well as some street skateboarding. I am nowhere near the level of a sponsored professional but I understand skateboarding really well. I would give all my current knowledge and experience to help someone grow and enjoy their future skateboarding career. I am available Saturdays and Sundays at any time of the day.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
