High Bridge is a borough in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2010 Census, the borough population was 3,648.
High Bridge was originally incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 29, 1871, from portions of both Clinton Township and Lebanon Township and Bethlehem Township. On February 19, 1898, the borough of High Bridge was incorporated from portions of the township, with the remainder returned to Clinton and Lebanon Townships.
High Bridge Borough is located on the South Branch of the Raritan River in the north central part of Hunterdon County. Water from the South Branch was a valuable power source for one of the first ironworks in the United States, established by William Allen and Joseph Turner of Philadelphia. Allen was the mayor of Philadelphia, a Chief Justice of Pennsylvania, and a prominent landowner in New Jersey. Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the High Bridge skate park.
