Clayville is a village in Oneida County, New York, USA. The population was 445 at the 2000 census.
The Village of Clayville (formerly called Paris Furnace) is inside the Town of Paris.
Clayville was incorporated in 1887. Clayville was named in honor of Henry Clay. Iron founderies and machine shops were an important activity here by the 1850s.
Clayville is located at 42°58′29″N 75°15′0″W / 42.97472°N 75.25°W / 42.97472; -75.25 (42.974818, -75.250047).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km), of which, 0.5 square miles (1.3 km) of it is land and 2.13% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 445 people, 168 households, and 109 families residing in the village. The population density was 970.7 people per square mile (373.5/km²). Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Learn all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Clayville skate park.
