Chandler is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, and is a prominent suburb of the Phoenix, Arizona, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). It is bordered to the north and west by Tempe, to the north by Mesa, to the west by Phoenix, to the south by the Gila River Indian Community, and to the east by Gilbert. The population was 236,123 according to the Census Bureau 2010. It also has satellite locations for many technology companies, including Intel and Orbital Sciences Corporation.
In 1891, Dr. Alexander John Chandler, the first veterinary surgeon in Arizona Territory, settled on a ranch south of Mesa, studying irrigation engineering. By 1900, he had acquired 18,000 acres (73 km) of land, and began drawing up plans for a townsite on what was then known as the Chandler Ranch. The townsite office opened on May 17, 1912, the same year that Chandler High School was established. Chandler Skate Instructor – Quinn M. From Mesa

Born and raised in Portland Oregon, Quinn started skating in one of skateboarding’s capitals at the age of 9. 12 years later, at the age of 21, living in Tempe while completing his final year at ASU, he loves it more than ever. Quinn believes that skateboarding is an art form, much like traditional martial arts. Once a skateboarder masters the basics, they can begin to express themselves through small intentional movements, a style unique to them. A new world opens up for them, culturally, as well as how they see architecture and the environment around them. Skateboarding has played a huge role in Quinn’s life, and it has shaped him into the person he is today. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
