Archdale is a city in Guilford and Randolph counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The population was 9,014 at the 2000 census.
Archdale is located at 35°54′14″N 79°57′58″W / 35.90389°N 79.96611°W / 35.90389; -79.96611 (35.903996, -79.966080).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.8 square miles (20.3 km²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 9,014 people, 3,743 households, and 2,623 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,151.8 people per square mile (444.5/km²). There were 3,986 housing units at an average density of 509.3 per square mile (196.6/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 93.20% White, 2.75% African American, 0.47% Native American, 2.04% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.73% from other races, and 0.80% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.81% of the population.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Find out all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Archdale skate park.
