Garden Grove CA SKATEBOARD LESSONS!

OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

Joshua C. from Buena Park, California!

Joshua has helped younger skaters with tips and advice when he sees them skating usually at the Vans at the block of Orange. He has been skating for the past 9 years. He is able to teach technical tricks and has a wide variety of flat-ground tricks. His specialty is manual pads, best trick landed would have to be a kickflip manual front pop-out. He thinks it is more important for new skaters to understand the fundamentals of weight balance and the physics of skateboarding rather than learning complicated tricks.

Ryan R. from Costa Mesa, California!

I’ve been skateboarding for 23 years. Skating as a “job” since 2010 Turned pro in 2016. I’m currently a Pro for Welcome Skateboards and Bones Wheels I worked at Woodward West as an instructor from 2007-2009. I Have continued to visit there and other various Skatecamp over the years as a hand on visiting pro. I love working with the kids! And Helping connect them to the potential their skateboard has! My grandfather was an Olympic diving coach with 3 gold medals from his divers. He instilled lessons in me on how to communicate with and nurture the youth’s curiosity and drive!! Excited to shred with your kids!

Improve Your Skateboarding in a Two Week-Long Course

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
