Howdy! My name is Daniel, born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. I have been practicing many different skateboarding disciplines for the last 18 years which include but are not limited to Street, Park, Transition, Slalom, Downhill, and Freeride. I am quite proficient at transition skating and hold state, national, and international titles in downhill skateboard racing. As a professional athlete, I understand that I have a limited time to compete, with that being said I also understand that the kids of tomorrow are going to raise the bar higher than ever before. I can show you the way to the mountaintop, let’s go learn to skateboard and make dreams come true!

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Be taught all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

How to Start:
Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Bakersfield skate park.
